Chrome DevTools: compare memory changes with the saved state

The Application panel displays localStorage for a chosen origin. Use it to check whether a visible change was actually saved.

Where it helps

After an ad reward appears, record the visible balance and inspect keys and values for the same origin in Application → Local Storage. Refresh, then compare again. Chrome's official guide explains how to view, edit and delete these values.

A useful observation

With an isolated test save, take a storage snapshot before claiming a reward. Claim it once and check whether the transaction marker and balance change together. A dual-slot save also needs its committed slot identified; a compatibility mirror field alone is insufficient.

What the panel cannot establish

A visible stored value does not establish that the game reads it or that cloud sync has completed. Editing or deleting keys affects progress for that origin. Inject faults into isolated saves, rather than long-term player saves. This inspection also does not replace checks in the actual phone host. Link checked: October 4, 2026.
